How Lease Solutions collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and services.

To help you buy your leased car, we need some personal information — and you deserve to know exactly what we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it, start to finish. That's what this notice is for, in plain English.
Lease Solutions LLC ("Lease Solutions," "we," "us") helps drivers evaluate and complete vehicle lease buyouts. Through leasesolutions.com, you can check your buyout options, use our payment calculators, and submit a financing application. We arrange financing through third-party partner banks and credit unions, handle title and registration paperwork, and offer optional vehicle protection products. We are a broker, not a lender; all financing is subject to lender credit approval.
This notice covers everything we do — not just this website. It applies when you visit leasesolutions.com or any Lease Solutions site that links to this notice, call or text with us, exchange emails, respond to our direct mail, apply for financing, or work with us on a title transfer. We collect what we need to do the job you've asked us to do — and where the job is arranging a car loan, that's a real amount of information. Here's the full picture.
Depending on how far you go with us, this can include:
Sensitive information. Financing requires some sensitive data — financial information, creditworthiness data, and government identifiers like your Social Security number. We collect it only when it's needed for a transaction you've asked for, with your consent or as the law allows.
Like nearly every website, ours automatically collects technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser and device characteristics (device identifiers, operating system, internet provider or carrier), the pages you view, how you found us, and system and error data. This keeps the site secure and tells us what's working. It includes approximate location derived from your IP address — we do not collect precise (GPS-level) device location. Some of this arrives through cookies and similar technologies, covered in section 5.

Four jobs, in order of importance:
Doing the work you asked for. Looking up your vehicle, walking you through your options, coordinating your payoff with your leasing company, arranging financing, processing optional protection products, and completing title and registration.
Talking with you. Responding to your inquiries, sending service and transaction messages about your active request, and — separately — marketing you can opt out of at any time (section 6).
Marketing Lease Solutions. Measuring what brings people to us, advertising our services, and posting customer reviews (which may contain names as the reviewer wrote them).
Protecting the business and following the law. Fraud prevention, security, recordkeeping, and meeting our legal obligations.
Your financial information gets the narrowest treatment of anything we hold. We use credit-application and financial information only to evaluate requested financing, submit applications to selected lenders, process and complete transactions, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and provide related services you've requested. We do not use credit-application information — Social Security numbers, credit reports, lender decisions, income, or lease-account details — to build advertising audiences.

We share information with different kinds of organizations for different reasons — and the difference matters, so here they are by role:
We may also transfer information as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of company assets, in which case it will remain subject to the protections described in the privacy notice in effect when it was collected.
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device to remember things. We use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, tags) for two purposes: keeping the site working and secure, and measuring and advertising our services. Advertising and analytics partners may set their own technologies on our site to show you Lease Solutions ads elsewhere on the internet.
Where these technologies count as a "sale" or "sharing" under state privacy law (targeted advertising generally does), you can opt out — see section 10 and the Global Privacy Control in section 11. You can also block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
We may use Google Analytics, including its Remarketing feature, to understand how the site is used. You can opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, through Google Ads Settings, or at optout.networkadvertising.org.
We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to understand how visitors use the site (behavioral metrics, heatmaps, session replay), for fraud prevention and site security, and to advertise our services. Usage data is captured with first- and third-party cookies. Details are in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Opting out of marketing is always available and always simple: click unsubscribe in any marketing email, reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to any text, use the opt-out page, or just tell us. Marketing opt-outs do not stop communications about an active application, a requested quote, a transaction in progress, title or registration matters, or customer service — those aren't marketing, and pausing them would stall the work you asked us to do.
We do not sell mobile telephone numbers, and we do not share mobile information, SMS opt-in data, or consent records with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party — the only exception is service providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver the messages you asked for. Mobile numbers may separately be disclosed to lenders or other transaction partners when necessary to provide non-messaging services you've requested.
Text messages from Lease Solutions are transactional and conversational — status updates and conversations about your request, quote, or application. We do not send promotional marketing texts. SMS consent is optional and is never a condition of receiving a quote, your numbers, or any service; message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to end messages or HELP for help.
Only as long as the purpose it serves, and the purposes differ:
When no requirement applies anymore, we delete or anonymize the information — or, where that isn't yet possible (backup archives, for example), we isolate it from further use until deletion becomes possible.
We use appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed for the sensitivity of what we hold. Social Security numbers, for example, are encrypted in transit, are never stored on this website or in its database, are held only in our access-controlled financing system (multi-factor sign-in required), are never sent by email, and are removed on a schedule once they are no longer needed. Honesty requires the standard caveat: no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and no company can truthfully guarantee otherwise.
Our services are for adults — you can't lease a car as a minor, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, nor do we knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18. By using the services you represent that you're at least 18. If you believe we've collected information from someone under 18, tell us at info@leasesolutions.com and we'll promptly delete it.
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, state law gives you specific rights over your personal information. Rights vary by state and aren't absolute, but they generally include:

We'll need to verify your identity before acting — using only the information necessary to do so; if we can't verify you from what we already hold, we may ask for a little more, used solely for verification, security, and fraud prevention. You can also withdraw any consent you've previously given us at any time, and you can use an authorized agent, with valid proof of authorization. If we decline a request, you can appeal by email and we'll explain our decision in writing; if the appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.

We only collect sensitive personal information as permitted by applicable privacy laws or with your consent, and you may have the right to limit its use or disclosure. We do not collect or process sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, and we do not use sensitive personal information, credit application information, vehicle identification numbers, or text-message opt-in data to build advertising audiences.
We may also collect information outside these categories when you interact with us in person, online, or by phone or mail — customer support, surveys, and the ordinary course of delivering our services.
In the preceding twelve months, we disclosed these categories to third parties for business purposes: identifiers; personal information as defined in the California Customer Records law; commercial information; internet or other electronic network activity information; approximate (IP-derived) geolocation data; and professional or employment-related information (credit-application details disclosed to lenders at your request).
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. In the preceding twelve months, we shared the following categories for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising, which may qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" under state law: identifiers (including email addresses and telephone numbers uploaded as matched advertising audiences) and internet or other electronic network activity information. These went to advertising platforms and social networks (including Google and Meta), ad networks, and retargeting platforms. Using your information for our own internal business purposes (internal research, for example) is not "selling." You can opt out of this sharing at any time using any method in this section; browsers sending the Global Privacy Control signal (section 11) are opted out of cookie- and pixel-based sharing automatically.
California "Shine The Light": California Civil Code Section 1798.83 lets California residents request, once a year and free of charge, the categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes in the immediately preceding calendar year, along with the names and addresses of those third parties. Submit requests in writing using the contact details below.
Global Privacy Control (GPC): we recognize and honor GPC signals. If your browser or extension sends GPC, we treat it as a valid opt-out of cookie- and pixel-based sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising under applicable state laws — automatically, no extra steps. Because GPC is a browser signal, it can't tell us who you are across our other systems: to also be excluded from audience-list uploads (like the matched audiences in section 10), contact us using any method in section 10. Do-Not-Track: no uniform DNT standard was ever finalized, so like most sites we don't respond to DNT browser signals. California law requires us to tell you that plainly, and we just did. If a standard is adopted, we'll follow it and update this notice.
We may obtain limited information from consumer reporting agencies to make prescreened firm offers of credit as permitted by law. Every prescreened solicitation explains how to opt out of future offers. You can also opt out at www.optoutprescreen.com or 1-888-5-OPT-OUT (1-888-567-8688).
Our services link to sites we don't control — lender websites, your leasing company, Google's review pages. Their privacy practices are their own; this notice stops where their pages begin.
When we update this notice, the "Last updated" date at the top changes. For material changes we'll post a prominent notice or contact you directly. This is a living document — it changes when our practices do, not the other way around.
