You can't get a lease buyout loan from capitalone.com — Capital One's own FAQ says it doesn't offer them. The dealer-level lending channel is how we work with Capital One instead: Lease Solutions submits your buyout application through Dealertrack, a decision comes back, and if it's an approval, your loan is a Capital One loan — without a dealership visit.
What Capital One Offers Drivers Directly — and What It Doesn't
Capital One describes itself as one of the ten largest banks in America, and reported an auto-loan portfolio of roughly $83.6 billion at the end of 2025 (per its Q4 2025 earnings release). It finances car purchases through its Auto Navigator dealer network and refinances existing auto loans online. But its refinancing FAQ is unambiguous about the product this page is about: “We do not offer cash-back refinancing or lease buyouts”(capitalone.com, as of August 2026). A lease isn't a loan, so their consumer refinance product can't pay one off — and there's no consumer-facing buyout product to apply for.
If you've read a page somewhere claiming you can simply get a “Capital One lease buyout loan,” check it against Capital One's own website. The claim doesn't survive contact.
The Channel That Actually Works
Banks that don't sell a loan product directly to consumers often still make those loans through the indirect channel — the dealer-level lending network where transactions are submitted by businesses, not individuals. That's how Lease Solutions arranges Capital One financing for lease buyouts:
- We submit your application through Dealertrack — the same lending platform dealerships use — packaged the way indirect lenders expect.
- Capital One returns a credit decision, the same way it would for a dealership deal.
- If the structure needs work, we work it — we have lender-portal access to restructure a deal directly rather than starting over.
None of that is available to a driver applying alone, which is exactly why the broker route exists. And because your application goes out to our partner lenders — not just one bank — a Capital One approval competes with other offers rather than being your only option.
What This Means for Your Buyout
Practically: you don't need to care which lender wins your loan — you need the payoff handled, a competitive rate, and the title in your name. One conversation with a specialist covers your payoff quote, your options across lenders, and every step after approval: the leasing company gets paid, and for one flat $695 fee we handle title, registration, and plates — no DMV trip for you in most states.

Common Questions
Does Capital One offer lease buyout loans?
Not directly to consumers. Capital One’s own auto-refinancing FAQ states it does not offer lease buyouts, and its refinance product only pays off existing loans from other institutions — a lease isn’t a loan, so it doesn’t qualify. As of August 2026 there is no Capital One lease-buyout product you can apply for on their website.
Then how can a lease buyout end up financed by Capital One?
Through the dealer-level lending channel. Lease Solutions submits buyout applications to Capital One through Dealertrack — the same platform dealerships use — and Capital One returns a credit decision. That channel isn’t available to individual consumers, which is why you won’t find it on capitalone.com.
Is Lease Solutions affiliated with Capital One?
No. Lease Solutions LLC is an independent lease-buyout financing broker. Capital One is one of several partner lenders financing is arranged through; it does not endorse or sponsor Lease Solutions. All loans are subject to lender credit approval.
What if Capital One isn’t the right fit for my deal?
That’s the point of working with a broker: one application, compared across partner lenders. If another lender approves better terms for your situation, your specialist tells you so — you’re never locked to any single bank.
What happens after an approval comes back?
Your specialist reviews the terms with you, and if the structure needs adjusting we work the deal directly with the lender. Once you sign, the lender pays off your leasing company and we handle title, registration, and plates — no dealership or DMV trip.
Lease Solutions LLC is an independent broker, not a lender, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Capital One. Financing is arranged through partner lenders; all loans are subject to lender credit approval.
